Mama's Masquerade
BLURB: Mama is so pretty, so clever, so Mama!
But sometimes mama gets the urge to reinvent herself, not always with the best results as far as her little girl is concerned. Why can’t Mama see just being Mama is perfect! A Word Wings Picture book for 3 to 7 years, highlighting the importance of role-play, and parents/carers as role models.
FIVE STAR REVIEW:

Mama’s Masquerade by J.R. Poulter is an adorable story. The little girl thinks her mother is just perfect being a mama. The story captures the love and warmth shared between a mother and daughter, and how the little girl observes the transformation of her mother into different roles.
The story is delightful, it is relatable and palpable. The illustrations beautifully capture the author’s message and will fascinate readers with its liveliness and energy, a charming story for parents and grandparents to read out to youngsters at night [and for ] being read out in classrooms and school libraries. The author showcases the love of a mother and daughter through beautiful images and words. Mamta Madhaven, writer, poet, editor, Readers’ Favorite reviewer,
TEACHER REVIEW: “From the mouths of babes, this story reflects all the children who see their mothers transform themselves for their many different roles in life,
but who cherish the most important role of all, being their MAMA!” Adrienne T. O’Connell, B.A., Grad. Dip. Ed., taught children from outback Indigenous to multicultural city classrooms.
