FIVE STAR REVIEW: [abridged]

J.R. Poulter's Cattitudes: A Collection of Cattiverse is a delightful collection of rhyming poetry revolving around [felines]. From big to small, they are all included, from tigers to lions to household kitties, there are even some cameos of dogs and other creatures. The drawings in the book are eye-catching. Different structures of the poems keep you on your toes, one is even heart shaped. Although some of the poems will make you smile and laugh, one did bring tears to my eyes. Also following the poems are Topics for Teachers.
I thought the poetry was wonderful and children, especially, would enjoy it. The poetry itself was like finding an old treasure. The language is such a gift. J.R. Poulter's Cattitudes is sure to delight all humans, from small to medium to adult sized.  Review by Erin Nicole Cochran, writer and poet, reviewer on Readers’ Favorite & zoetrope.com
